Find the Golf Ball That Fits You

A golfer’s documented equipment can provide context, but it cannot replace your own swing, launch, spin, feel and forgiveness needs. Use the free fitting lab to turn those inputs into a ranked starting point.

Golf Ball Fitting

Answer 6 questions about your game and we'll match you to the golf ball built for it — the same factors a real fitting would evaluate: swing speed, spin needs, feel preference, and shot-shaping priorities..

How the recommendation works: Your swing speed (or estimated swing speed, from 9-iron distance) places you into a compression category - Low, Mid, or High - the same way a real ball fitting works. Only balls built for that category are considered. Within that category, the specific recommendation is scored by weighted similarity between your answers (distance off the tee, greenside spin need, feel, the ability to shape shots) and each ball's known performance profile.

Factors evaluated: distance off the tee, greenside control, softer feel at impact, Workability / shot-shaping need, Driver swing speed (mph), forgiveness off the tee

Low Compression balls (under 85 mph swing speed) include Callaway Supersoft, Wilson Staff Duo Soft+, TaylorMade Soft Response, Titleist TruFeel, Bridgestone e6 Soft, Srixon Soft Feel, Snell Get Sum.

Mid Compression balls (roughly 85-100 mph swing speed) include TaylorMade TP5, Titleist Pro V1, Callaway Chrome Soft, Bridgestone Tour B RX, Srixon Z-Star, Titleist Tour Soft, TaylorMade Tour Response, TaylorMade Tour Response Stripe, Srixon Q-Star Tour, Callaway Chrome Tour, Bridgestone Tour B XS, Kirkland Signature Performance+, Vice Pro, Vice Pro Air, Vice Tour, Snell PR4, Snell PR3.

High Compression balls (101+ mph swing speed) include TaylorMade TP5x, Titleist Pro V1x, Callaway Chrome Soft X, Bridgestone Tour B X, Srixon Z-Star XV, Vice Pro Plus.

Evidence Before Equipment Claims

My9Iron documents when equipment was observed or reported. We do not turn an old video, tournament photo or partial database listing into a permanent claim that a golfer still plays the same setup today. When evidence is incomplete, the page should say so.
